πŸ“ Sign a Petition

Read, sign, and share petitions directed at decision-makers - because public support matters and collective action builds momentum.

Because change doesn’t wait for voting age.

What is a Petition?

A public call asking leaders or institutions to take a specific action. Your goal: one clear demand, a strong reason it matters, and enough public support that decision-makers have to pay attention.

For me, signing is one piece of a bigger push - most of the petitions below line up with issues I also worked on directly, through 311 reports, letters to City staff, deputations at City Hall, or my published Toronto Star letters.

What I did

I signed a Progress Toronto petition to Mayor and Ward Councillors calling for 24/7 indoor warming spaces during winter.

How you can do it too

  1. Read the petition carefully and check who it targets and what it asks for.
  2. Sign with intent - add a short comment if available and stay focused on the issue.
  3. Share it with context so others understand why it matters and who should act.
