🎬 Make Films to Encourage Civic Action

Turn what you see in your city into films that spark change.

because change doesn’t wait for voting age.

Why Civic Films?

Civic films turn real observations into stories people remember - short, visual, and powerful enough to move people to act.

What I did

Ontario Place through a Bird’s Eye

I made a bird’s-eye video of Ontario Place - public land, civic memory, and what is being lost.

Canada 150 - Screened at TIFF Jump Cuts

I made a short film celebrating Canada at 150 - youth, science, and community. Selected and screened at TIFF's Jump Cuts Young Filmmakers Showcase.

How you can do it too

  1. Plan: pick one local story and gather photos, clips, and two or three key facts.
  2. Film and edit a short 60-180 second video with clear narration or captions.
  3. End with one clear ask, then share it widely and tag the decision-makers who can act.
