What is a Civic Hackathon?

A short, hands-on event where people build prototypes, analyze open data, and propose solutions for public good - transit, climate, housing, safety, and more.

What I did

PROGRAM: Toronto - “Better My City” Winner

I built a prototype of Better My City app at PROGRAM: Toronto Hackathon hosted at Toronto City Hall, using open data and UX to help students make their school routes and communities safer. It won the top prize among 60 participants.
